This design was printed and permanently pressed with dye-sublimation into a high-quality ceramic 11oz mug in the Pithitude studio. It features a blue handle and interior.
What is dye-sublimation? It is a special ink and transfer paper process that is pressed into a polymer coating at 400 degrees, causing the ink to vaporize into the pores of the polymer where it is encapsulated permanently under the surface. The paper is removed, and the ceramic is cooled.
