What is dye-sublimation? It is a special ink and transfer paper process that is pressed into a polymer coating at 400 degrees, causing the ink to vaporize into the pores of the polymer where it is encapsulated permanently under the surface. The paper is removed, and the ceramic is cooled. The image does not fade or chip.
